WARNING - I'm going to get gushy again...

Raising kids is tough. Suddenly you're responsible beyond anything you've previously experienced, which tends to turn most of us (or maybe just me) into a pretty serious person. We start sounding just like our parents, or even all adults from A Christmas Story - "a BB gun? You'll put your eye out!" I noticed this in my own behaviour, to the point where I seemed to have forgotten just how wonderful it is to be young and innocent, in a world full of magic and mystery. This song is my appeal to keep my inner child alive and well, and to stop being such a sourpuss...
