This song is the one which dropped off the list when I was recording the "Too" album with Darren Walters.
The song wasn't a good fit with the songs on that album, and perhaps because it was left behind, it may have
played a role in setting the tone for this album. I re-wrote a few of the lyrics and we recorded it.
Other than the title, the song has nothing in common, not even any hint of inspiration from the similarly
named hit song "Breakfast at Tiffany's". It's just a coincidence that the titles are similar, so let's nip
that in the bud right here.
Another song about being alone, I wanted this one to be more upbeat rather than my more serious songs.
People often ask me "why do you sing such sad songs?", so this one was a fun take on being alone and waiting
for the right person to come along.
For the non-Canadians out there, you may not catch the references which have been woven into Canadian
culture through our love of the iconic Tim Horton's chain of coffee shops. We Canadians have our hockey,
our beavers and our Tim Horton's, so back off and get your own coffee...
